Saied Mahmud Zubayer, Head of Issue Marketing, Promotion, and Debt Market Development, Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC, has been appointed as a member of the Global Council of the CGIA Institute.

Mr. Zubayer has served Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC for over 18 years. As the Head of Issue Marketing, Promotion, and Debt Market Development at Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC (DSE), Bangladesh. Currently, he is responsible for identifying and creating new opportunities for listing development, product diversification, market segment expansion, and stakeholder engagement.

He has a strong background in securities-related laws, compliance-related issues, and product development on the exchange. He delivers lectures on securities laws and capital market-related topics in various institutions like the DSE Training Academy, the Bangladesh Institute of Capital Markets (BICM), the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), and different stakeholders in the capital market.

The CGIA Institute is a globally recognized professional organization of finance and investment professionals that sets global standards for ethical investment practices for the finance and investment management industry, with its headquarters in the United States.

The Global Council of the Institute is responsible for reviewing and making decisions on all parts of the Institute’s strategy and policy to shape and respond to developments that will affect the organization.

Mr. Zubayer previously served as the first President of the CGIA Institute’s Network in Bangladesh, where he managed all activities in Bangladesh under the supervision of the CGIA Institute, USA.
