Saied Mahmud Zubayer, has been serving Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC for more than 18 years.

As the Head of Issue Marketing, Promotion, and Debt Market Development at Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC (DSE), Bangladesh. Currently, he is responsible for identifying and creating new opportunities for listing development, product diversification, market segment expansion, and stakeholder engagement.

With over 18 years of experience in the capital market industry, he has a proven track record of inspecting and auditing the overall affairs of Stock Brokers, Stock Dealers, and listed companies including Depository participants, providing legal advice to the stakeholders, preparing regulations of DSE, conducting training & awareness program and leading cross-functional teams to achieve the vision and goals of DSE.

He has a strong background in securities-related laws, compliance-related issues and product development of Exchange. He was head of different departments of DSE such as Monitoring and Compliance, Investigation and Enforcement, Research and Information, Market Operations, Product and Market Development Department & In Charge of the Office of the Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) of DSE.

He has also been actively involved in major development programs of DSE, such as the Exchange Demutualization, Clearing and Settlement System, DSE Automation System, AML/CFT Implementation, and Digital Bangladesh Project of DSE. He holds the Chartered Global Investment Analyst (CGIA) and the Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (ACSI) credentials, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Capital Market (PGDCM), BBA & MBA in Finance, and a Bachelor of Law. He is passionate about promoting the capital market as a platform for economic growth, social impact, and financial inclusion.

He delivers lectures on securities laws and capital market related topics in various institutions like DSE Training Academy, Bangladesh Institute of Capital market (BICM), Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) and different Stakeholders of Capital Market. He is also a guest faculty member of Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market. He visited a good number of countries such as Australia, Pakistan, India, China, Malaysia, KSA, etc. on different Training Programs, Seminars & Workshops.

He was the founder President of CGIA Network, Bangladesh. The CGIA Network Bangladesh was the host of holding the Finance and Investment Summit in Bangladesh in 2020, where, President of CGIA Institute attended and the Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission was the Chief Guest of the Summit. As a member network of the Institute, under the leadership of Mr. Zubayer, CGIA Network Bangladesh has already established a professional body for promoting the highest ethical standards in the finance and investment management industry in Bangladesh.
