Sandeep Kumar, FCGIA is an internationally renowned management and finance expert with 27+ years of experience in consulting and corporates, including in leadership roles in general management, strategy, treasury, GRC – (governance, risk and controls), corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, restructuring and controllership. He has substantial experience with different corporate structures including start-up, listed companies, holding company, subsidiary, joint venture, stand-alone company, conglomerate, MNC.

Further, he has extensive exposure in multi-cultural and multi-geography set ups, with work/training across the world (including Middle East, USA, UK, Belgium, Spain, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Russia).

He has gained insights beyond ‘business as usual’, including shareholding, management & regulatory transitions.

He has served in the Chief Financial Officer domain for over two decades in various companies with the help of his expertise in finance and distinguished leadership style. He has also worked as a Consultant with renowned multinational consulting firms, on assignments internationally.

The various positions occupied through his professional career gave him an unusually broad base of experience in all areas of finance, including Cash Management, Budgeting, Forecasting, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Planning and Analysis, GRC (governance, risk and controls). Having worked in senior management positions, he identifies the big picture and strategic direction seamlessly.

Currently, as a Management and Finance Consultant, he leverages corporate experience in consulting – management & strategy, finance, treasury, GRC and restructuring related. Assignments include treasury review for a UK based client at London, for one of the largest Indian manufacturing companies (covering India and Singapore) and for one of the largest Indian banks.

He is also an Expert Council Member with multinational research companies and engaged in training – leadership, soft skills and CFO related.

Sandeep Kumar received the first CFO next 100 Award from the CFO Institute of India in 2012. He recently passed his Limited Insolvency exam at the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India. He is a Rank Holder Chartered Accountant from India.

He is the Chairperson and Global Council Member of the CGIA Institute (Chartered Global Investment Analyst).
