Sopio Baiadze is a reliable and thoughtful professional with a robust background in Accounting and Treasury Management and serves on the Global Council of the CGIA Institute.

Sopio started off her career in 2008 as a Credit Officer at JSC “ProCredit Bank” Georgia. Two years later, she was promoted as the Treasury Specialist of the Bank.

She is currently the Senior Treasury Officer at JSC ISBank Georgia, where her current remit involves handling the investment in Georgian and Turkish Government securities, liquidity planning, monitoring of Liquidity ratio / covenants and treasury –related risk management, among other responsibilities.

Before joining IS Bank Georgia, she held a number of Treasurer roles within the financial services industry. She previously worked as the Treasury Officer at FINCA Bank Georgia. Prior to these roles, Sopio was Treasurer for Rompetrol, the main brand and overseas asset of KazMunayGas International Group, National Oil & Gas company of Kazakhstan.

Her domains of expertise include Corporate Finance, Cash Flow Forecasting, Risk management, Cash management, Treasury Management, Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting & Modelling, Trading Foreign Exchange and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Sopio Baiadze has Master of Science in Finance with Specialization in Investment and Banking from Central European University Business School, Budapest. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business and Professional Level Certificate from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with Specialization in Economics and Management from Tbilisi State University in 2009.
