CGIA awards scholarships to members of Women in Finance & Investment Network

by CGIA Institute

The Chartered Global Investment Analysts Institute (CGIA), is an online and membership-based professional body of finance and investment professionals, setting global standards for ethical investment practices for the finance and investment management industry. The Institute provides the Chartered Global Investment Analyst (CGIA®) designation as well as hosts some of the industry-leading events.

Women in Finance and Investment Network is a non-profit organization committed to taking action to bridge a generational gap in our industry. WIFIN exists to give women the opportunity to receive the highest level of professional education, build credibility, and tap into a global network to pursue a rewarding career in the Finance and Investment management industry.

In line with WIFIN’s vision and mission to empower women to successfully achieve their professional career goals, the network has signed a partnership with the CGIA Institute to provide their members with a scholarship to pursue a professional qualification. Aimed at the WIFIN members who are committed to creating a change in their respective communities, this scholarship will not only benefit them in attaining a professional designation but also allow them to participate in our partner’s events and activities.

” We will never stop assisting our members to achieve their biggest dreams and goals. At WIFIN, we understand and appreciate how passionate our global members are about the finance and investment sector and an important component of WIFIN’s efforts to promote its members’ development is by investing in education.”

Dikshita Awotarowa, President of WIFIN.

To assist our members in receiving the highest level of professional education to pursue a rewarding career in the Finance and Investment industry but find themselves in a difficult position to access funding, WIFIN in partnership with the CGIA Institute is introducing a merit-based scholarship scheme for its members around the world. The scholarship is offered both in full and partial (fees discounted) to all WIFIN members who wish to enrol in the CGIA Charter program.
